Square CEO Alyssa Henry to step down, Jack Dorsey to take over as head

Alyssa Henry, the CEO of Square, a unit of Jack Dorsey's fintech company Block, plans to step down from her position on October 2, 2023. Jack Dorsey, who is currently the head and chairperson of Block, will also serve as the Square head. Alyssa Henry has been with Square for over nine years. This news comes as Jack Dorsey takes over the role once again.
