Nexstar Stations Return to DirecTV After 11-Week Blackout

Nexstar Stations have returned to the DirecTV lineup following progress in contract negotiations. This comes after an 11-week blackout that left millions of subscribers unable to access Nexstar's local television stations and cable news network. The two companies reached a new multi-year agreement, covering 176 of Nexstar's local television stations and its cable news network. The deal ended a two-month blackout and has restored access to key channels for DirecTV subscribers. The announcement of the agreement was made by both Nexstar and DirecTV.
